Smoothies are quicker than running to your nearest fast-food joint. Plus, they pack a better nutritional punch! When you add the right ingredients, like vitamin-rich fruits and vegetables, and filling sources of protein like seeds, nuts, or powders, you’ll have sustained energy all day long.

This recipe from Meg De Jong combines the power of Organika’s Plant-Based Collagen Booster with vitamin C-rich superheroes like oranges, and strawberries! Did you know that vitamin C is essential for collagen production? Vitamin C helps to create the structure of collagen, as well as works as an antioxidant to reduce the breakdown of the collagen we’ve created!

So when you’re in a rush, try out this plant-based smoothie recipe for a quick and nourishing treat!

Orange Strawberry Dream Plant-Based Collagen Smoothie

Plant-Based Smoothie

Serving size: single serving

Prep time: 5 minutes


1 Tbsp. Organika Plant-Based Collagen Booster
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1 ripe banana (fresh or frozen)
1 navel orange
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup cold water
1 tsp. hemp hearts
1/2 cup ice

Garnish: additional hemp hearts


Place all ingredients into a blender and mix until well incorporated.

Taste test to ensure it matches your desired taste. If you want it thicker, feel free to add additional ice cubes and/or frozen strawberries.
Pour into your favourite smoothie glass and garnish with additional hemp hearts.
