We take “organic” and “local” pretty seriously here at the Organic Grocer!
We source local organic produce whenever available, and most of our supplements are locally produced as well – if not in BC then definitely made in Canada.
Eating locally grown produce, and taking locally produced health supplements helps reduce our impact on the Earth by reducing harmful global warming chemicals that are released in the transport of consumable goods. It’s also a healthier choice because foods can be grown to full maturity before being harvested – ensuring a rich array of phytonutrients in every bite.

Many of our pre-made and pre-packaged foods are organically produced, vegan, non-GMO and/or gluten free (look for the blue labels) further reducing our impact on Mother Earth. Take a moment to browse the grocery isles – you’ll find some really exciting – and ecologically conscious choices.
Thanks for stopping by!
At the Organic Grocer we strive to work together with our suppliers, community officials and staff to ensure the sustained availability of health and heath care products for our growing community.
Let us tell you a bit more about our philosophy so that you know what you’re supporting when you shop at The Organic Grocer:
We’re always looking for ecological consciousness; when we consider new products for our store we feel it is pertinent to ask provocative questions that get everybody thinking. (Take a peek at our About Us page for details on our quality control.) With these questions in mind, and with a keen eye for quality ingredients, we’re finding some pretty spectacular companies we feel proud to carry in our store. We’re excited to share them all with our community.
