This is a delicious keto chocolate shake with minimal ingredients that takes less than 2 minutes to make. It’s low-carb, contains quality fats and protein, and is full of energy. The cinnamon and vanilla both add depth to the flavor to this shake and the added coconut milk makes it smooth and creamy. I also love adding in a pinch of quality salt when I make any type of chocolate recipe because it enhances and balances out the chocolate flavor.

Keto Chocolate Shake With Coconut Milk

Makes 2


  • 2 scoops of grass-fed collagen powder
  • 1 – 1.5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 – 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • Mitosweet or low-carb sweetener of choice, to taste
  • 1/2 – 3/4 cup of filtered water
  • 1/2 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 – 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Brain Octane Oil or MCT oil
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Add all the ingredients into a high powered blender and blitz until everything is well combined.
  2. Adjust the sweetness if needed.
  3. Pour into 2 glasses and enjoy.

Sinfully Delicious Coconut Whipped Cream … Times Two

Coconut whipped cream offers all the health benefits of coconut oil (MCT’s, Lauric Acid, etc.) while providing you a novel and tasty way to enjoy these benefits.  Why not try a recipe for your Valentine’s Day desert?  Coconut whipped cream is great with heart shaped (gluten-free) brownies, organic fruit, or even chocolate almond pudding.  Honestly, I eat it a bit too often!!!
You can make two types of whipped cream – a soft whip, or a firm whip.  Here’s how to make each version:
Makes 2-3 cups whipped cream
  • Firmer Whipped Cream:
  • 2 cans (15.33 ounces each) organic coconut milk, refrigerated over night
  • 2 Tablespoons Grade A organic maple syrup or local honey
  • 1 Teaspoon organic vanilla extract
  • Softer Whipped Cream:
  • 1 tetra pak of coconut cream, refrigerated over night
  • 2 Tablespoons Grade A organic maple syrup or local honey
  • 1 Teaspoon organic vanilla extract
  1. For the firmer whipped cream: scoop off the solid coconut cream from off the top, leaving the liquid behind for another use (add it to your smoothie).
    Place the coconut cream, maple syrup or honey, and the vanilla in a mixer and beat on high for 10 minutes until the whipped cream is fluffy.
  2. For the softer whipped cream: pour the entire tetra pak of coconut cream into a mixer bowl and add the maple syrup or honey and the vanilla. Beat the mixture on high for 15 minutes until the cream is light, fluffy, and holds a very soft peak.
  3. Serve both types of whipped cream as soon as possible for best results.
    The softer whipped cream will usually hold in the refrigerator up to 2 days without separating.
    The firmer version usually starts to separate in a day.
  4. TIP:  Keep all your tools ice cold (put your mixing blades and bowl in the freezer for a while before starting this recipe)

RECIPE – High Protein Smoothie with PGX Fiber

High Protein Smoothie

Smoothies are a great addition to your breakfast options. They are delicious and nutritious, and if packed with protein and fibre, it can help control your hunger all day.

Smoothies are so versatile. Whatever your personal preferences, dietary restrictions, and ingredients you’ve got in the fridge or cupboard, you can create a straw-sipping or spoon scooping meal or snack.

Just a few helpful tips. Don’t go overboard with the fruit.  Too much sweet can overpower the palate. If you’re adding ice, put it in last, as you don’t want to over blend until it just melts into water. Don’t be afraid to experiment though.  It’s also easy to get into a smoothie rut, so switch up the ingredients every so often.


A protein powder: whey, soy, or a mixed vegan source

A fat source: one tbsp of coconut oil, chopped nuts, natural nut butter (almond or peanut), sunflower butter or hemp seeds

A fiber: 2.5-5 grams PGX or one tbsp chia seeds or ground flaxseed

A lower glycemic fruit: 1/3 to 1/2 banana or/and 1/2 cup of frozen or fresh fruit (berries, kiwi, peaches, etc.)

A liquid: water, skim or 1% milk or even non-fat or Greek yogurt (source of protein), unsweetened almond milk (very low protein)


  1. Try adding one of these to change up your daily smoothie and for added benefits: ½-1 cup vegetables (carrots, kale etc…), scoop greens powder, sprinkle of cinnamon, unsweetened cocoa powder, ½-1 tbsp honey or maple syrup, lemon juice.
  2. How to freeze bananas: Using frozen bananas rather than fresh will do two things: it will keep your smoothie nice and cold and it will give your smoothie a thicker consistency. To freeze bananas, peel them, cut them in half, and place them (not touching) flat on a cookie sheet. Place in freezer until completely frozen, and then transfer frozen banana halves to airtight container for easy access.

Crunchy Peanut Butter Bites

A twist on a popular recipe from November, the Crunchy Coconut Blossom Chocolates. How do you make chocolate even better? Adding peanut butter usually does the trick. We have not yet tried making these with a peanut free option, but an almond or cashew butter should work, you may need to tweak the recipe a bit.

These really are a treat. Share wisely.

Chocolate mixture
  • Crunchy Coconut Blossom Chocolate recipe

Peanut Butter Cream

  • 1/2 cup organic peanut butter
  • 4 tsp. Coconut Sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. DME™ Virgin Coconut Oil, melted
  • Pinch of sea salt


  1. Make the chocolate mixture. Fill an ice cube tray a little less than half way with mixture. Place in the freezer to cool for 15 minutes. Be sure to stir the remaining chocolate mixture every couple of minutes to keep it smooth.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the peanut butter cream ingredients until smooth. Place in the fridge until you remove the ice cube tray.
  3. Remove the ice cube tray. Place a small spoonful of the peanut butter cream on each chocolate cube.
  4. Give the remaining chocolate mixture a good stir and pour over the peanut butter until covered.
  5. Place tray back in the freezer for another 15 minutes, or until completely solid.

Makes about 8-10 Crunchy Chocolate Peanut Butter Bites.
