NEW PRODUCT - Incense, Smudging & Diffusion!!!

With our neighbourhood's loss of Sue's Book Store, we've had a lot of requests for incenses, smudging materials, and essential oil diffusers - so we brought some in for you! We've brought in the ever-popular Nag Champa insence; Abolone Shells, Sweet Grass & White Sage for smudging; and Nature's Garden incenses: Nature's Garden is a top selling premium incense which is made using the traditional method of hand rolling in India with non toxic, all natural ingredients. The ancient Masala Method of making incense uses only natural essential oils, flowers, spices, aromatic herbs, natural resins and other aromatic substances blended in a paste which is then hand-rolled onto a bamboo stick. It is then beautifully packaged using handmade paper and individually decorated with dried flowers and leaves. Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa Incense is made from mixture of herbs, floral extracts and oils, which are hand rolled onto a bamboo stick. It is popular all over the world with musicians, students and yoga studios. IT was first introduced it to the North American market in the 1970's. "Smudging" is the common name given to a powerful cleansing technique from the Native American tradition; however, the burning of herbs for emotional, psychic, and spiritual purification is a common practice among many religious, healing, and spiritual traditions. It is a ceremonial way to cleanse a person, place or an object of negative energies or influences. It is also an effective method for energizing or blessing a person, place or object. Smudging can be useful when you're feeling depressed, angry, resentful, unwell or after you have had an argument with someone. It is common to smudge yourself, the space and all the guests or participants before a ritual or ceremony or celebration. You can smudge your home or work space as part of a general spiritual housecleaning, and you can cleanse crystals or other objects of any negative or lingering energy with a smudging ritual. There are many ways to smudge and a variety of different herbs may be used. Sage is probably the most popular herb for smudging, followed by Sweet Grass. When the herbs used for smudging are tied into a bundle and allowed to dry they are called a "smudge stick". In traditional societies the herbs used for smudging are considered sacred and the smudge stick is treated with great respect. Essential Oil Diffusion is another option for both cleaning your space and for creating a warm scented environment. Our mind creates powerful connections between scent and our emotions, surroundings, and memories. Diffusing essential oils is a simple but effective way to access those connections. It can also help build new and positive memories and experiences. Because diffusion distributes essential oil molecules into the air so effectively, it is an excellent way to maximize the beneficial properties of essential oils. There are lots of good reasons to diffuse essential oils into the air: • add natural fragrance to a space or set a mood • kill air born germs • treat sickness • help with insomnia • offer better concentration at work or in school How it Works: A small ceramic or stone container is filled with water and heated by a tea lite candle. Add 6-10 drops of essential oil to the water (add hot water to speed the process). The aromatic vapors of the essential oils will be carried up into the air by the steam. Advantages: It’s easy, inexpensive and quiet. Put one in every room of your home.
